  i find it amazing that a religious movement predicting the end of the world for almost 150 years, still maintains a following!

  soon, all the older zealots will be dead, the baby-boomer jws will be old and retired, and the bulk of the jw labor force will consist of all the "worldly music - listening", facebook using, living as close to the edge of wt standards as possible, youth of today.

  as they mature, grow older and began to seek social status for themselves among other jws by pursuing appointments like ms and elder, they will probably morph into a replica of their parents.

  I think the GB zealots will keep coming up with the truth keeps getting brighter, lol, if the expansion keeps happening in the third world countries that will help their conversion figures but will not bring in the revenue, and the decline in dare I say it enlightened nations being more skeptical does not fill their rapidly falling bank accounts, I think if the trend continues they will be relegated to a third rate religion with only the paranoid and disturbed following them as if that wasn't that wasn't happening now!!!!!

  What say you Christians ???

  it seems to me that most, if not all christians are really hung up on sin and redemption from sin and how naturally evil we all are.. my question, and observation is this : i had nothing to do with whatever you say adam and eve did wrong, i have always, throughout my life, treated whoever i came into contact with compassion, respect and love.. i have lived by the golden rule.. not many people, hand on heart, can say that, i can.. so, is your god going to judge me for the "sin" of some mythical forebears of mine ?

  is he going to say that , because i did not believe in him, i willl be judged adversely, even though i lived by the precepts he is supposed to support ?.

  all i can say is, if your god is like that, i refuse to worship or acknowledge him.. and i certainly do not want to get to know him.

  I think the whole Christianity thing is a little bit silly, ripped off from earlier religions, take the best bits, alter it to make it a bit more acceptable, season with a few alleged new truths and amazingly you have a new religion, perfect, just as long as your not too bright, lol!!!!!

  I was at work in an old peoples home at 6pm UK time, and no rapture, although I would have liked to be at home with wife and three kids, I guess we have got to endure until October until the real judgement day, lol

  The more you hear of Biblical facts that are wrong, it makes you less inclined to have faith in man's brilliant ideas and cures for human ailments, if Christianity and religion in general were to have total control of the human family millions of people would have died from now curable illnesses.

  What research and development of human illnesses would have been done if the governing body of the Jehovah's Witnesses had been in mastery of humanity? answer none!!!!!!!!

  Maybe the whole thing was ancient alien visits, it's no less plausible than the Bible account, as the Bible stories have no external verification, I think that all theories are on the table!
